Bellingham Cruise Terminal
Bellingham, Washington

Predecessor firm, Stewart+King Architects, participated with the Port of Bellingham and the Community in winning the approval of Bellingham as the southern terminus for the Alaska Ferry System.

From concept to completion, this project was under extremely tight deadlines. Design and construction were fast-tracked to open the facility for the first sailing one year from award by the Alaska Marine Highway System.

The design reflects the romance of water travel and the history of terminals in Puget Sound.

The Bellingham Cruise Terminal is a thriving gateway for ferry travelers as well as a continually used facility for private and public functions.
